Frequently asked questions
How long will it take for my website to be up and running?
Depending on availability and the type of project; once deposit & all information is received, turnaround time is 15-20 working days. We present the project in stages and depending on revisions and client approval, the turnaround time may vary. If you require a faster turnaround time, we may be able to accommodate you at an additional fee. Please chat to us.
What is the payment process?
50:50 [ 50% on confirmation (nonrefundable) ; 50% before handing over final project]

EFT is the preferred payment option.
Will I have access to edit my website?
Yes, you will get a username and password to access your site upon final handover.
We highly recommend having a website backup if you plan to edit on your own as we cannot be held liable if something does go wrong. Check out our maintenance package!
We also offer video tutorials at an additional cost to help you navigate certain features within the website backend.
What about website maintenance?
We have a monthly maintenance & hosting package that includes update, updated backups, simple content updates & add-ons. Peace of mind a small monthly fee.

What is my [the client's] involvement in the project?
Your involvement is crucial to the success of the project. After all, this YOUR brand. Once you have decided on the package you prefer, a deposit will be required and you will receive a brand/website questionnaire. This will need to be filled out and returned to us, at which point we can begin developing your website. We will provide you with constant updates to review along the way to ensure that you are delighted with the final result.
What is a domain?
A domain name is an address on the internet. It’s unique to you in the same way that your contact number is unique to you.
Simply put, it is your personal site name. Example, our site domain is “macomedia.co.za”. Registering a domain name also means personalized email address’. Example, “admin@macomedia.co.za”
Check with us to see if your selected name is available and what domain extension you may use (.com/.co.za/.org/etc.)
Do you provide content for the website / website copy?
It is always best to provide your own copy as this is a more efficient, cost-effective option. It is also a great way of incorporating your OWN personality into the brand.
If required, we can provide website copy at a fee of R150 per 100 words. We will still require a basic outline for each section of your website.
